Vaillant aroTHERM Split intro heat pump

aroTHERM Split intro is the entry-level split heat pump family, offered in four outputs. It suits villas, detached houses and small businesses making their first move to a heat pump.

The version with a built-in electric back-up heater prevents any capacity shortfall on the few coldest days of the year. The 8 kW to 16 kW span covers everything from a single flat to a large detached house.

Several units can be cascaded to serve larger systems, which matters in apartment and commercial projects. To size the system correctly we start with a heat loss calculation for the building.

Vaillant aroTHERM plus monobloc heat pump

An air source monobloc heat pump range: no refrigerant pipework is run indoors, which keeps installation simple. It uses R290 natural refrigerant with a GWP of 3. Flow temperatures of up to 75 °C mean it can also work with existing radiator systems.
Vaillant aroTHERM pro monobloc heat pump
- 5–15 kW
A compact single fan monobloc heat pump. FSF technology reduces the clearance required around the unit, so it fits narrow gardens and terraces. It keeps A+++ efficiency even at a 55 °C system flow temperature and reaches up to 70 °C for radiator systems.
Vaillant aroTHERM pure split heat pump
- 6–10 kW
A split heat pump using R32 refrigerant, with separate outdoor and indoor units. The indoor unit with integrated cylinder stores up to 250 litres of hot water at 40 °C, enough for a family of four. Heating and hot water are covered by a single system.
