Natural gas subscription process
Getting natural gas connected in Antalya takes five steps: the subscription application, project approval, indoor pipework, the technical report and the gas commissioning inspection. This page explains each step and which part we handle for you.
The natural gas distribution licence for Antalya belongs to Enerya Antalya Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş. Subscription and gas commissioning belong to the distribution company, while designing and installing the indoor pipework is the job of a certified installation company. Devka Doğalgaz takes on that second part in full and manages the correspondence with the distribution company on your behalf.
Step by step
-
Subscription application and documents
You apply to the distribution company for a subscription. Documents such as the title deed or tenancy agreement, ID and the compulsory earthquake insurance policy are prepared, and the connection agreement is signed.
-
Project drawing and approval (TS 7363)
The indoor pipework project is drawn to the TS 7363 standard and the technical rules of the distribution company. Appliance capacities, pipe diameters, flue and ventilation solutions are shown and the project is submitted for approval.
-
Pipework installation and tightness test
The pipe route is installed to the approved project and appliance connections are made. The completed system is pressure tested for tightness and the result is recorded.
-
Technical report and handover
A technical report is prepared listing the engineer and installer, the materials used, the pressure class and the test results. The report is handed to the customer and the distribution company before gas is opened.
-
Gas commissioning inspection
An inspection appointment is booked with the distribution company. Their technical team checks the installation on site and, if everything is in order, the meter is fitted and gas is opened. Our team attends on the day.
Documents you need to prepare
- Copy of the title deed or tenancy agreement
- Copy of the ID of the person subscribing
- Compulsory earthquake insurance (DASK) policy
- Occupancy permit for the building
- Tax certificate (for commercial subscriptions)
- Building management approval for the riser, if required
Official pages of the distribution company

How long does it take?
From approval of the application to the visit of the distribution company technical team usually takes 3–7 working days. Indoor pipework in a single flat takes on average 1–2 days. Total duration depends on the building, missing documents and the appointment load of the distribution company.
Choosing an installer
The company carrying out the indoor pipework must hold a valid Indoor Installation and Service Lines Certificate issued by the distribution company. Work done without that certificate is rejected at the commissioning inspection and has to be redone.
