Where to find your natural gas installation number (tesisat numarası) usually becomes a question when you need to pay a bill, take over a subscription or apply for a boiler replacement. This guide is for natural gas users in Antalya, Turkey who are looking for their installation number, contract account number or meter number. Based on official sources, it explains what these numbers mean, which one Enerya Antalya uses, and how to get the information if your bill isn't to hand.
What Is an Installation Number?
Every address that uses natural gas has numbers in the distribution company's records for that connection and subscription. In everyday Turkish, "tesisat numarası" usually refers to the record number that lets the distribution company find your gas connection in its system. Bill payments, subscription changes, complaints and applications all ask for this number, or the subscriber number that takes its place.
The catch is that distribution companies don't all use the same names. A field labelled "installation no" on one company's bill may appear as "contract account number" or "subscriber number" on another's. So it's normal if what you read online about "tesisat numarası" doesn't match your Antalya bill exactly.
Which Number Does Enerya Use in Antalya?
Natural gas in Antalya province is distributed by Enerya Antalya Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş. Enerya's online bill viewing screen verifies subscribers in one of two ways:
- by Contract Account Number (Sözleşme Hesap Numarası)
- by Meter Number (Sayaç Numarası)
Either way, it also asks for certain digits of your Turkish ID number. In practice, when checking or paying your bill in Antalya, your contract account number will usually do the job of the "installation number". Banks and payment channels may use a different field name, such as subscriber no or installation no; in that case, simply enter the matching number from your bill.
Where to Find Your Natural Gas Installation Number
These are the places to look for your installation and subscription numbers:
1. Your Gas Bill
The easiest source is your latest gas bill. Subscriber and contract details are shown in the subscriber information section of the bill. If you see several numbers, check which one the task in hand needs: Enerya's online screen asks for the contract account number.
2. Your Subscription Contract
According to Enerya, the subscription contract is the agreement between the gas user and the distribution company that sets out both parties' rights and obligations; it is signed after the internal installation project is approved, the required documents are submitted and the security deposit is paid. Your copy of this contract contains your subscription details.
3. The Gas Meter
The number printed on the meter is the meter's own serial number, not the installation or contract account number. Even so, because Enerya's online bill screen accepts the meter number for verification, it can help if you don't have your bill. When reading it, don't damage the meter or meter cabinet, and don't touch any seals.
4. e-Devlet
Turkey's e-Devlet portal offers "Doğal Gaz Aboneliği Sorgulama" (subscription lookup), "Doğal Gaz Abonelik Sözleşmesi Başvurusu" (subscription application) and "Doğal Gaz Abonelik Sözleşme Feshi Başvurusu" (subscription termination) services for Enerya Antalya. You can sign in with your e-Devlet password, mobile signature, e-signature, Turkish ID card or internet banking to see your own subscription details.
5. Enerya Customer Service
If none of the above works, you can call Enerya's customer service line on 444 8 429 or visit one of its customer service offices. Have your identity details ready when you call.
Three Numbers, Three Meanings
| Number | What it identifies | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Installation / subscriber number | Your gas connection and subscription in the distributor's records | Bill, subscription contract |
| Contract account number | The account linked to your subscription contract with Enerya | Bill, subscription contract; used on Enerya's online bill screen |
| Meter number | The gas meter in your home itself | On the meter; may also appear on the bill |
The easiest way to know which number a task needs is to look at the field name on the screen or form you are using. If in doubt, having your whole bill to hand is usually enough.
When Do You Need the Installation Number?
- Checking and paying bills: online screens, banks and payment points identify subscribers by these numbers.
- Moving, transferring or closing a subscription: your subscription details are needed to close the account at your old address and sign a contract at the new one.
- Boiler replacement and pipework changes: changes to the internal installation are designed by a certified company and approved by the distribution company, and your subscription details are needed along the way.
- Complaints and applications: for meter, billing or supply issues, the distribution company finds your record using this number.
Be Careful When Sharing Your Numbers
Your contract account number plus a few digits of your Turkish ID number can be enough to view your bills on online screens. So don't post photos of your bill on social media, and don't give these details to people who phone you asking for them. If a task genuinely requires them, share them only through Enerya's official channels, e-Devlet or the certified company doing your work.
Things to Know When Moving
When you move into a new home, the previous subscriber's contract has to be terminated and a new subscription contract made in your name. According to Enerya's subscription page, for individual household use the ID of the person who will use the gas is enough for the subscription contract. Your new contract and first bill will show which numbers have changed. If the flat is being connected to natural gas for the first time, the process is longer; see our Antalya natural gas subscription guide for documents and steps, and our natural gas subscription process page to see which steps Devka handles.
If You Rent
If you're a tenant using gas in your own name, the subscription contract also needs to be in your name. Carrying on using gas without the previous tenant's subscription being closed can lead to confusion over debts and bills. Asking your landlord for a copy of the latest bill helps you find the address's subscription details quickly; for work such as a boiler replacement or pipework changes, the owner's consent may also be required.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the natural gas installation number written?
Installation and subscription details appear in the documents your distribution company gives you: the subscriber information section of your gas bill and your subscription contract. The field name on the bill varies by distributor and may read 'installation no' (tesisat no) or 'contract account no' (sözleşme hesap no).
Which number do I need for an Enerya bill in Antalya?
Enerya's online bill viewing screen verifies subscribers by 'Contract Account Number' (Sözleşme Hesap Numarası) or 'Meter Number' (Sayaç Numarası), together with certain digits of the Turkish ID number. Keep one of these two numbers handy when checking your bill in Antalya.
Is the number on the gas meter my installation number?
No. The number printed on the meter is the meter's own serial number. Although Enerya also lets you look up bills with it, it is not the same as the installation or contract account number.
How can I find my installation number without a bill?
You can check your subscription details through the 'Enerya Antalya Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş./Doğal Gaz Aboneliği Sorgulama' service on e-Devlet, or call Enerya customer service on 444 8 429. Your copy of the subscription contract also contains these details.
Does the installation number change when I move into a new home?
When you move, the previous subscriber's contract is terminated and you sign a new subscription contract. You can see which numbers have changed and which stayed the same on your new contract and first bill, and confirm with Enerya if in doubt.
